I want my blog back…
Funny enough I have a personal blog @ JRameau.com/blog, which I struggled to keep current. I was in Europe for 4 months and barely post any of the amazing pics I did (with my Canon G9). Actually thinking back, I barely looked at all the images I produced, which was alot. I was actually planning on putting together a Graffiti book, which would show graffiti tags in their context, I wonder if anyone would get same feeling I had toward graffiti and architecture, and spatial decisions and what not.
For anyone that wants a personal blog, I recommend not taking my route, lol. Get yourself one of these free services, tumblr, wordpress, blogspot, posterous, etc. I have many sites, many, currently that’s what I do for a living. But my own sites are: http://iconology.therndm.com http://certifiedrandom.com http://menuwall.com and http://trainerstip.com which are all built on top of drupal, which is super fun to play around with and develop very cool sites with lots of options. But guess what I play a lot with creating cool stuff and not pushing out much content cause of that, lol
next topic on my mind: how do I stop myself from checking my email 50 times a day or twitter or anything. I seriously repeat the same tasks over and over again. Like checking if there is a new comment on one of the blogs listed above or something else. I wish I could settle down and not care until the end of the day or maybe even week.
Weirdly I barely have been keeping up with all the blogs I used to: swiss-miss, hypebeast, thefader, nahright, notcot, and some more. all and all I make sure to hit lifehacker everyday. and my own blogs a whole lot more.
(Once I get my blog back up how I want it, I will have all the links feed into tumblr and my twitter @JRameau)
Peace it
-JR
